Bike brake pads

London with the Wests

Stayed at the Ibis Euston. Had lunch at a restaurant/cafe by Euston called Puccino's. The photo sums up the place. Then went to the Tower of London. Then to the Cittie of York pub on High Holborn. We tried also the Mitre, just down a little alley...

Porto

I'm in Porto in Portugal for 3 nights at a conference. Staying at nice hotel, where the rooms have bathrooms with glass walls and blinds! Flew with RuinAir. Started reading Lance Armstrong's book on the plane.

Ice cream van

Techno Flap

Fitted this new cat flap on 11 October. Its on the inside end of the little tunnel through the wall. What's really clever is that it has a chip reader in it so that it only lets our cats in!

Walk - Dovedale

Meant to write about this earlier, on 4 October Julie and I did this fantastic walk from Dovedale in the peak district. About three-quarters of the way round is this lovely place to stop. We had our food and a little bottle of cava each.
